The 942 doesn't have any composite out or s-video out? Composite to composite or s-video to RF modulator to TV would be the best and easiest way to go. You will get no better quality with a component to composite versus the cost.

If this will not work at least give them an actual call, maybe they can help.
or maybe use the TV2 out. I can imagine why the other optional video outs are not on that device, if just for down-rez option just like yours.

That is what I ment by cheap. I've already found the high priced ones... TV2 is going to be used to feed other tvs.
Unfortunately because of the way the signals are different, I do not think a simple PnP adapter will be available for component to composite. That is why I think you should call a pro, RAM, directly.
