Connect 2 DVRs to one TV

We have his and hers HD DVRs. I'd like to connect them both to the same big screen. I have dual drops connected to the one HD DVR now connected to the big screen; any ideas on what I would need to do to connect the second HD DVR?

Connect one HD DVR to Video 1 and the other to Video 2

Get two additional sat lines to that location (not sure if that's what you meant by "dual drops"). Another important part is to get the HD DVRs programmed on different remote codes. Before you start, unplug the second receiver so you don't accidently set them both up in this manner at the same time. If you go into menu>settings/parental,favs,settings>setup and down to remote, you should see an option that is labeled "receiver mode". I believe you want to select AV1 or AV2, and then reprogram the remote control. With the mode switch to the far left (or on AV1 if you want to use only 1 remote), hold mute and select for 5 seconds until the green light flashes twice. Enter 00002 and then the power key. If successful, you should be able to operate both receivers independently without interference. I'd suggest using the stickers that come in the remote control packaging if you want to use two seperate remotes.
