I was informed this morning after subscribing to programming which includes local channels that I will need a second dish for them. I currently have a triple-LNB dish with two separate RG6 lines feeding two receivers.

I have a question regarding the connection of the second dish: Will the second dish require additional lines entering the house, or will the two dishes be merged outside the house using a multiswitch (4 lines in, 2 lines out)?

Thanks,
Brian

With the Phase 3 dish antenna, you will need a special 6 x 8 switch, and of course, an 18" dish. The switch can be mounted outside, so you can connect your two lines going into your home direct to the switch. No additional lines will be necessary.
