I use Firefox 7 and in the tabs at the top I always notice that SatelliteGuys is the ONLY website that looks like it is periodically refreshing. The title changes to "Connecting" and the favicon changes to a circular animation for a few seconds and then it goes back to the Satguys favicon and text.

It does this even if I'm on another tab. It's quite distracting and I was just wondering if this is normal behavior?

It really screws over my system.
I turned off auto-refresh in FireFox maybe 6 months ago.
Problem resolved.

Check-box the following, if you can locate it:
Tools | Options | Advanced | General | Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload web page

Then click: OK

If you stay where you are, the default page will continue to refresh.
You may have to manually refresh the page or navigate to a new page to see that it has worked.

I prefer to leave 2..3..4 tabs open into SatGuys, each on a different sub-forum of interest.
Having them all update (or even one) drove me crazy!
You have to react defensively to such antics.
If it'd been any other site, I'd have ditched it long ago.
