Convert 1000+ to 1000.5?

It's my understanding that since my 1000+ is really a 500+ with an extra LNB for 129, that there's an "Eastern Arc Repoint Kit" I can get that will convert my 1000+ dish to a 1000.5. I've googled it and just find a few installer references, but no place to purchase it.

Anyone know where I can get this "Eastern Arc Repoint Kit"?

No, I definitely mean 1000.5, which is like a 1000.4 but with the larger 500+/1000+ dish.

The reason I want to switch is that I'm having trouble with my line of site to 129 and would have no trouble pointing to the EA satellites.

you use the 1000+ pan with the 1000.4 skew plate lnb arm and assy. I believe, there is no repoint kit that I know of other than the sd to 1000+ kit

The .4 skew plate won't fit the + dish. You need the .4 LNB assembly including the arm, which is interchangable with the +.
Use EA settings for the new setup.

Where did you get your .4 LNB Arm? I've googled and checked ebay, and can't find one. Or were you able to get the whole conversion kit all together?

Your easiest bet would just to get the whole 1000.4 kit, and just replace the 1000+, or if you still need the 118.7* just set up the .4 separately, and connect the FFS port from the + kit to the input of the .4.

I originally was set up with a 500+ when my locals were on 118.7. I bought the 1000.4 on ebay last year, for, I think about 60 or 70 bucks shipped. Even though the official documents mention the repoint kit, I haven't heard of anyone actually having them for sale.
