Coolsat 5000 - Scanning

I have a Coolsat 5000 and SG-2100, when you go from one satellite and scan and then program the channels, and then go to the next satellite. Do you have to go to Data Base and delete the previous satellite channels, or does the receiver take care of that? Thanks

you dont need to delete channels. It will scan in the channels. If they are already in the system (channel list) they will stay there. New channels will get added to the end of the list
