Copying Programs from one DVR to another

Hello Guys

I was just upgraded for free from HR20 to HR21-700 and had a ton of stuff on my old HR20. Is there a way to "send" all of those programs to my other DVR. Im pretty technical when it comes to riggin something up to make it work but wanted to keep from swapping hard drives. Not even sure if the 2 could be swapped. Also if there is a way how about programs from my HR10-250 to the new HR21?

No you can not move anything from one unit to another one. Best idea is watch what you have on the old units or revord them to DVD witch will take the same amount of time to do.

Why even bother? Just keep the HR20 active! Or did I miss something? Multiple tuners are a good thing.

IF you open the case up to try and swap hard drives, I doubt that it would work anyways. When you add a External HD and move it from one DVR to another it also cannot be done , the DVR automatically does a format when the new HD is added, thus erasing all the programs that were on it.
