Correction on bill

I called Dish last night to dispute a charge which was put on my bill in error. They said they were removing the charge. However, I logged into my online account to pay my corrected bill and the charge is still showing up. Does it take a couple of days for corrections to a bill to show up or should it be immediate?
 
I did the same thing yesterday. I did talk to a service rep about the problem and he assured me that he would take care of it (a $5 refund for programming access.....I do now have a phone line hooked in the back of the box). I paid the higher bill online and noticed a credit for the right amount of refund this morning. Give it a day or two to make the correction on the website bill.
