when i switched to HD-Only package the CSR tried to charge me a $5.00 "downgrade" fee, but I told him, "well this is an UPGRADE to me!" and he agreed to waive the five bucks.
I just got charged that fee when switching from HD ultimate to HD Essentials. I argued that I should not be charged since I would have taken the HD Essentials when I signed up but I was forced to take the $20 HD Pack, since that was all they had at the time.
This isn't bad i switch from one international channel to another without change in the bill and i still got charged downgrade fee. dish and it's fees.
