CPU temperature

I changed my PhenomII X4's cooler from stock to aftermarket and want to see how it performs. Really want to know if it is making good contact with the chip. Is there a program that will really stress the processor? preferably a free one? idle temps look good.

i thought that stuff was just for overclocking. I just want to see the performance of my cooler under a couple hours of heavy load.

How about Sandra Lite? I have used this many times to run various components full out. You can specify times or number of cycles you want it to run for. It will also keep tabs of CPU temperature.
