CS 8000 setup

I bought a CS8000 on ebay, and I'm not sure how to get this box to function. When I turn it on it it shows---loading software, model 4600C146, H/W ver: 1.00.00, S/W 0.00
STi7100 loader ver. 1.09 , no software( 4600C146). I can't get menu on it. It looks like it is downloading software, but when it finishes with that, it will not go into menu. Has anyone experienced this before? Thanks.

sounds like they cleaned out the software in it

You will need to reload the software. The CS8000 probably had hackware in it and the seller decided to remove the software out of it. The "clean" file removes all software but he forgot to reload the newest.

Ice: That worked fine. Took me a little time getting the downloads in order, and turning the back switch off and on at the right time. But hey, us old guys are just slow anyway. Thanks for the guidance.
