CSI: Crime Scene Investigation

This show has definitely jumped the shark

They jumped the shark in the episode where Russell was taken hostage. Interesting how they were able to get the kid's fingerprints by zooming in with a security camera on a bloody bottle, then run it in the database and get a match in seconds....

I know it's a tv drama, but that's such bs.

"Kitty": The FBI's Cyber Crime Division works with the CSIs as they investigate the murder of a prominent casino owner's wife.

If I were CBS and looking for a new spin-off, honestly I would choose the CSI one over the NCIS one. I know I said some rash things about the two of them months back but I am very interested in how Patricia Arquette and the Cyber Division goes! I honestly think that tonight's episode was very good and IMO, deserves a spinoff more than than NCIS NOLA.

It was a good episode but can they really make a "weakly" series out of it? I'd rather see a CSINY again. Years ago they did a series of shows "Columbo. Macmillan and wife and one other" they were an hour and a half long and a new episode was aired every 3rd week. Maybe it is time to try something like it again. Lets see NCIS then NCISLA then NCISNOLA alternating on a 3 week cycle.

I would much rather see CBS keep Intelligence than pick up a new CSI:Cybercrime series.
+1 any day.........

I forgot to expand on my post from the other day. I want to say that though I liked the CSI pilot more than the NCIS NOLA pilot(s), I don't want any of them on the CBS schedule next season. IF I were to have to choose between the two of them, I would take CSI. But I wouldn't in the first place anyway. NCIS: NOLA looks just like the normal NCIS. It's your average procedural but this time, it takes place in the Big Easy. For CSI: Cyber, I'm pretty sure that another CSI show would just be "boring" and too much I guess. Honestly, CSI right now is just old. I really wish they wrap it up in the next two or so years, and besides, does CBS really need another sci-fi show? POI is already a hit and Intelligence could have been a hit, if if never changed time slots after the pilot. I'm not sure if CBS just decided to jump the shark on Intelligence when it announced the CSI Cyber spin off a few months back or they thought by broadening the diversity of their shows, they would attract more young viewers. Admit it, CBS mainly attracts the old. CSI deserves it more than NCIS but honestly... I don't see any harm in renewing Intelligence or ordering some other non-spin off show. I guess it adds more variety.

PS: It's May and I'm still surprised that there is someone still "rooting" for Intelligence other than me. :) I feel good on the inside now.

I don't expect NCISNO to actually become a show as a regular spin off, I doubt that the ratings were good enough.
I would like to see a few of the people on NO show up in either NCIS, but the show as a spin off I don't think will happen.

As for the CSI (I would love to see NY come back) I liked this one and hope to see it become CSI Cyber ...
I am glad to see Patricia Arquette in something again ...

I also would like to see CSINY come back it had good stars good accents and scenery. I doubt that those stars could be assembled again. I think recent CSI episodes weren't as good as CSINY.
I also hope NCISNO doesn't make it only had 3 stars and only one impressed me. I was just using it for a third series.

Is CSI in syndication anyplace? Last WED. CBS ran an episode from last Oct.2013 it had CSI Willows, and Greg as a lab tech Gil as the night shift supervisor and finished off with scenes from old episodes. It just woke up feelings that maybe some of the old (original) episodes might be interesting.
