Current DTV subscriber debating about Dish

Thanks everyone for the advice. I did call back late last night and accepted the deal. I was really happy since the first note did as he said he would and put all the notes on my account. They are refunding my credit card for the equipment (Joey's) that I had to pay the fees on. So that was a $190 savings (with tax). Issuing the $50 one time statement credit. Then giving an statement credit of $10 per month for 12 months.

Below is how the order is broken down:

NICE! That's very good for under $100 in today's prices. I wouldn't expect any problems that reads like a typical DISH bill.

One thing to note. The Alexa app will not be on the hopper right after install unless the hopper is connected to your Internet from the beginning. If the tech wait to connect to the Internet until after he's completed installation, you can either turn the hopper and all Joeys off for about 20 minutes and they will take an upgrade or they will upgrade on their own overnight and the Alexa app will be there in the morning.

Your technician should have handouts that detail how to pair the echo.to the receiver and the voice commands or you can print them off of the my dish website. Also know that some commands may not work right away because the echo.and The hopper and the app all take time to sync

Thank you so much for the info. I can wait till the next day for Alexa to work but at least I won't be thinking he/she messed something up. Install is on Saturday morning so hopefully everything goes well on that part. I hope they have a HIC (Hopper Internet Connection) on the truck. They added the note to the account but the customer specialist seemed lost on what that was.
