I've seen one Bruins road games in HD on NESN too. It was at Phoenix early in the season when we had a free preview of CI, which I don't subscribe to.
D* now has NESN HD, FSN-NY HD and MSG-HD

Not sure what happened with you and direc tv? Ill tell you I have have both and between both dish and direc, dish gives me tons of headaches.
They are always screwing up my bill. To direcs credit they have bent over backwards everytime I have had an issue.
If I even mention Dish they want to give me a credit.
Maybe give them another chance.
The only reason i still have dish is that the dvr 622 is incredible. I know its a crazy reason to stay with dish but it makes watching tv a pleasure.
However, im getting closer to throwing in the towel. Direcs HD content is now way ahead of dish.
I have enjoyed the Voom channels but I dont watch then anymore.
