I have an HD receiver, a Tivo and standard receiver connected to triple LNB dish that rests on a 10 foot pole on the roof.

Is the protection plan worth the $7.00 a month???

I have the protection plan. It used to be worth it just for the TiVo's because they used to be fairly expensive. I would say its worth it to cover the HD receiver as most of them are $299 to replace unless you can get d* to give you one for cheaper. Its definitely worth it if you have the HD TiVO as it costs $1000 to replace.
