D* Turns Off HBO/ Max Free Preview Two Days Early!

Directv end the Free preview of HBO & Cinemax two days early.

Crap. I don't really mind that they turned off the SD Cinemax. It was pretty much unwatchable on my DLP. But I did enjoy the HBO HD. Although I noticed they had HBO HD on two channels. Seems like a waste.

They don't actually use two channels; it just looks like it to your receiver. It's called remapping. They do that with a lot of channels, like Showtime HD and CD USA.
