d12-300 question about auto tuning

Does anyone know if this receiver will auto tune to a particular channel. I know with dish it was pretty easy to do. Any info will be greatly appreciated.
 
In the guide SELECT the show you wish to Autotune and follow teh instructions on screen, takes about 4 seconds.
