Dallas locals moved to spotbeam

Have the Dallas locals been moved to spotbeam today?

Yes I do believe they were.

Well it means that only the eastern 2/3 of TX and some of Southern OK will be the only ones able to recieve Dallas as a distant network. The rest of the country will have to choose other cities.

I believe it also means we don't need a dish aimed at 148 any longer all channels seem to come off 110 now.

The big-4 still seem to be on TP8, not the Spot. (on my 721 here in Garland).

Tp 8 is a Spotbeam Tp.

It still said Transponder, not SpotBeam, however.

E7 on 119 has 1,3,5,7,9 as spot beam transponders, E8 at 110 has 2,4,6,8,10 as spot beam transponders. This probably means that E7 and E8 could in theory work in the same slot if Dish ever decided to do it.
