I currently have just single LNB dish at 101 for SD channels receiving the DC spotbeam for locals. I am located in Harrisonburg, VA with an service address of New Market, VA 22844. Which is about 15-20 miles away. I beleive I am close to the edge of that spotbeam. I am interested in upgrading to HD service and get a slimline dish. Does anyone know what the footprint of the Ka Washington DC locals spotbeam? If I punch in the zip for New Market, it says I can get HD locals, but I am afraid I might be able to receive it. I am actually located in the Harrisonburg DMA, but they do not offer yet. Do they have some overlap on spot beams? I unable to find a map like they have for the 101 spotbeams. I would really appreciate if someone could help. I really don't want to buy the equipment if it isn't going to work for me.
