My DCT6412 loses about 1 second per day. On the average, it takes me 3 emails to COX (Wichita Kansas) to get them to update the thing. They refuse to tell me why they cannot keep it synchronized or if this is a general problem with the DCT6412. My Panasonic DVR (NTSC) connected to COX stays within one second. Does anyone else have this problem? My conclusion is that (1) the DCT6412 is defective or (2) the techical folks at Cox in Wichita are just plain stupid. The last time I tried calling tech support about this problem, the guy tried to convince me that I didn't really know what time it was anyway.

Followup:

I was contacted by Cox today and they finally admit they have a system problem with time synchronization on the DCT6412. They are trying to figure how to make their time server work with the DCT6412. I think I got the followup because I sent a long e-mail message to the VP of Cox Kansas.
