It appears if there is a God, there may be an HBO Deadwood movie to continue where it abruptly left off.

Since the demand for nearly all the actors has increased sizably, I would think it to be logistically and financially impossible.

Well, if anyone has the wherewithal to pay the actors, it's HBO. The cancellation, and the subsequent lie to fans about the promised wrap-up episodes, still annoys me. I've spent considerably less on them ever since.

Would be great if the same actors would play the characters. And of course the time line of the start of the film would coincide with the end of the series.
