Delete option not working

On my DVR when a show is done it used to come up with the delete option. It has not worked in a long time. Anyone have this problem?

Not that I know of. You can still delete it manually by going to the recording list, selecting the program you want to delete, and pressing the delete option right?

Yes I can still do that, but it is annoying to not be able to do it from the screen after you watch it like it is supposed to do.

have you reset the receiver? and the genie, if its a mini?

My HR44 has been doing this for a couple of years now. It only happens when the wife has been watching all the recorded shows one after another.
I suspect it is a software memory issue. Not hardware.
A red button reset will fix it until she gets caught up on her shows.

I don't remember what the model is. It is the one that is 3D capable. It is not a mini.
