Deleting files from USB - SonicView Elite

Does anyone have a SonicView elite receiver with USB connected for recording? I can record just fine, but I cannot delete the files (unless I reformat the whole drive).

there is a way and i think to remember it involves using the color coded keys (4 keys on remote, i think the yellow one is the one). or maybe you have to press OK or center key when on top of file name and it will show you a menu to play or delete. its been a long time since I played with it. I think a tthe bottom of the screen it shows you options that will give you a clue. I remember having a hard time finding how to delete files too.

Yeah it has to do with the colour coded buttons but when I select the files and press the colour coded buttons, nothing happens

I know on some Conaxsat units, that you cannot delete files through the receiver. It says deleted, but actually not. I would take it to your computer and delete that way. I have files that are corrupted with weird symbols. Even the computer won't delete them. When and if it becomes a problem, then I would reformat with computer.
