So, I rescued two of these from the trash probably 10 years back just in case I ever wanted to play around with FTA but now it's time to clean out the closet. Are these still useful to anybody or should I just send them to the recycling?

They are old hacker receivers, and pretty much ONLY good for the DVB-S QPSK foreign stuff on 97W. They won't work on anything newer than that.

This would be good for oldsmobile if he was still looking for an old receiver to only receive audio channels.

Yes! Oddly enough, I found a decent, cheap box on eBay for the living room, and then my garage receiver died, so I'm interested. Thanks!

Anyone have a surplus DVB-S receiver cheap?

(NOOB) How do I apply voltage to ku band lnbs?
