Picked up one of the new X1600's to pair with my new Sony 950G and my Energy Take 5 Classic speakers in my bedroom set up. It is replacing the older Denon S930. 2 things I wanted that the 930 doesn't offer are phono inputs and eARC. As always, Denon set-ups are super easy. Basically "How to Set Up a Receiver for Dummies". I just hook everything up first and then use the set-up to verify the inputs are working correctly. Piece of cake. Amazing that 2 years ago you could not get phono inputs on a Denon unless you went with the top of the line models. Now even the lowest end X series has them. 2019 S series do not.

While sales are increasing, there's little to suggest that they're taking over the market.

LP sales represent only 2.7% of album sales according to Statista. The reality is that people don't buy albums much anymore; probably because many of the current crop of artists don't offer albums as we remember them.
