Dhish Remote Access 922

If this has already been posted, please excuse me.
I am setting up Dish Remote Access on my PC and have input the Receiver ID.
However, even with the internet connected I still get:

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2) in /var/www/html/includes/db.php on line 70

Do I have to allow Dish through my Norton?

On a PC, you should be using DishOnline.com. What is the website you are going to?

Actually Matthew, I'm just trying to set up so that I can access my Network PC media from the DVR..

Sorry for the confusion on my part. You may need to alow the receiver to access the network fully, but this isn't something I'm too familiar with.

Are you trying to use Home Media Sharing? If so what server are you using? I used Windows Media Player and did not need to change any firewall settings but I did need to allow network sharing in Windows Media Player. Once that was done I could access PC media on my reciever.
