I have a GeoSat Pro C2 LNBF and I want to insert the Di-Electric Plate into it to try and get NSS 806. Is there any special way to insert the plate. The plate has a black strip on it. Does it matter which side it goes on. There are grooves in the throat and I put in in those. Does it need to go all the way down to the bottom of the grooves in the sides.

Dan.

Yes, kinda.
It does not matter "Which side is Up"
When you pop the Cap Off, look inside for the Grooves it slides into.
It's about 45 degrees to the Probes.

What's that black tape for? I can't figure it out. It looks like waterproof coax sealer tape, but it won't stick to anything on the shiny side. It would be nice if the manufacturer could include instructions!

The tape is only on one side, in the middle, and on one of the ends, I think. I will have to look when I get home. The plate is in the grooves.
