Thanks Iceberg! :)
I saw all that on descriptions of this product. I am hoping someone who owns one would give me personal insight of it.

I got a Diamond-9000 slaved off a 10-footer, don't know if their the same animal or not, but I like my 9000, it got a great tunner in it for week signals. an the Diamond people have a great channel editor also. is the Diamond 8000 with out the PVR function, like the Coolsat 8000 & 8100 models?

The model you have is capable to get the S2 signals, the Diamond 8000p doesn't. :(
There was no mention of a PVR in the list of features Iceberg shared in this post. I was looking at the model you have several months ago before I won the Coolsat 8000 at Ebay. The only thing I never understood about the Coolsat 8000 is the PVR feature. It has no USB slot on it but yet the Coolsat folks told me it can be done on their Coolsat models.
Iceberg please correct me if I am wrong about the Coolsat 8000. If I am right and your Coolsat 8000 is set up for PVR, please tell me how you did it.
