Ugh.. options but a bit of a rip off.

I am on 200. I wanted to come down to 120 or 120+ ... 120 is $50, 120+ is $60. I thought, well, I will get the 120 and add the Multi-Sport. Can't. It's greyed out. I want my Regional Sports channels and MLB and NHL Network. Only way I can do that is stay at 200 for $65, or get the 120+ and add Multi-Sport for $9 and then pay $69.. bleh. Sigh, looks like I'm staying put.

Question is, does 200 come with regional sports channels? If so, why the heck am I paying $9 a month for Multi when all I want is Sun Sports and MLB Network...?

EDIT: Dropped Multi-Sport. Problem solved. Apparently I didn't need it at all. Wondered why I still had channels when I cancelled it during baseball off season.

Dish Latino Dos which is eligible for HD Free for Life has RSNs and MLB Network. However, the Latino and American packages differ in structure in terms of American channels. For example, the main 4 American ESPNs are in AT120 but only ESPN 1, 2, and News are in Dish Latino Max.

AT120+ also has local rsn's, if you want to add Multi-sports, you need at least 120+.

AT120 Plus [ http://www.dish.com/entertainment/packages/americas-top-120-plus/ ] is $59.99/month; Dish Latino Dos [http://www.dish.com/entertainment/packages/dish-latino-dos/ ] is $48.99/ month. That is an $11/month difference. Dish Latino Dos also has MLB Network. I also believe the $9/month MultiSport package can also be added to Dish Latino Dos.

I would suggest comparing the channel lineups of the packages: http://www.mydish.com/programmingguides/

Also, if one can do without ESPN U but wants the other English ESPNs, Dish Latino Max [ http://www.dish.com/entertainment/packages/dish-latino-max/ ] is $61.99/month ($2/month more than AT120 Plus).

Ive been looking at package pricing. So the ONLY difference between 120 and 120+ is the RSN? Im shocked one is $49.99 and one is $59.99 for that little difference. Just looking at what I watch, 120 would be fine for me.

No, it's not the only difference between 120 and 120+. You also get Fuel and Fox Soccer Channel...ooh, and one more Dish CD channel.

I'm guessing mistake. :) I just checked our programming summary at Dish's website and it definitely says Top 120 at $49.99. The programming costs for Top 120+ is $10 more at $59.99.

Not complaining about receiving these channels just curious. My sister who lives nearby also has the Top 120. Next time I'm over there I'll check and see if she is receiving the extra channels as well.

I am a Top 120 subscriber. Two years ago my RSNs appeared on my account. When I inquired I was told they turned them on free for three months for longtime subscribers. I've been with Dish for 16 years. Two years later they are still there. I figured I'd lose them when I upgraded to HD a few months ago. Still there. Lost one channel for a while, but even it has returned. Certainly the best of Dish perks.
