Direct LNB with Dish

My father took his Dish reciever to florida for the winter and has a old Direct dish and LNB. Will this setup work? I know he would only be able to pick up 1 satellite. He is trying for 119. Thanks

this has worked for me in the past, used an old RCA dish for 119 only. you need to run a switch test each time the receiver is moved.

yes it will work the dual lnb or single lnb for the round dish are both the same the only difference is the outer case design
