Good Morning
Back for a dumb question. I was a full time rv'r for years and had no trouble setting up my old simple dish. Now I am parked and have a new dish. I just cannot get it to find a signal. `I have the elev and tilt set. Azimuth is confusing me. The receiver calls for 134 but I get nothing. My brother is close and he has same setup so I got on his roof. His tilt and elev is the same but when I put a compass on the arm I get a reading of 163. I tried that here-did not work either. No idea where to go next. The nearest direct store is way over 100 miles from me so I cannot even buy help.
Any ideas where I should go next? This getting old thing is not good for trying to figure things out like a fancy new dish.
Thanks
Pam

a winegard trvlr is the way to go!!! depending on budget and real-estate on your roof. or you could download the dtv app and stream it depending on your internet connection also. there's also another version of the trvlr but it's on a tripod and it also sets itself up as well. forgot the name of it....
