Direct T.V. Question

:I live in Panama City and work in Bogota, Colombia. I have Direct T.V. in both Cities and it is terrible, mainly European programing with many paid Advertisements. I want to subscribe to Direct T.V. in the U.S. and bring the Decoder back to Panama and Bogota with a larger Dish and recieve my Hometown Programing from the States. Several People have told me that they have did this before when They were Stationed in Panama while in the Service. Can this be done and what type of Dish will it take, All replies Welcome and Appreciated.

the satellites that deliver the programming to the US only cover the Continental US, Alaska, Hawaii, the southern portion of Canada, and the northern part of Mexico. You won't be able to pick anything up from the US satellites that far south.

I think the SlingBox might work for you. Use a DirecTV system in the US and access it with a SlingBox.
