What channels does Directv have in 4K?

No 4K channels in the traditional sense, such at ESPN, TBS, etc. They have two dedicated 4K channels which show various programs. From directv.com:

Channel 104

its a client, like a mini. it need a genie to work

And in the future it must be an HR54 or HS17 Genie with a reverse band lnb. That's for when the 4k channels are linear channels.

Actually the tv does have what it needs, but like you said you need a Genie too.

Has "D" indicated what future programming is projected for channel 104? For instance, for the past 2 months they have shown episodes 1 and 7 of season 7 of River Monsters. Approximately 20 times each of just those two episodes.

Don't forget about Channel 105 which is 4K PPV. This is where the 4K movies that are on PPV are at.

You forgot the 4K pay-per-view channel 105 and the 4K on-demand.
