I'm a little confused and maybe it doesn't matter but when you look at the back of some Directv receivers, the power cord can only plug in one way. I got the AM21N to connect to my HR34. The power cord that goes from the AM21N to the receiver is shaped that it can plug in either way. Will this cause an issue if the polarity is reversed, or doesn't it matter?
Thank you,
Greg

I dont think it matters. I somehow lost the DVR cord in a move one time, and ordered a "round on both sides" version from a site that sells em (same specs), and it worked fine.

Ok thank you! Didn't think it did but didn't want to ruin my HR34.
