Hello:
I am a brand new member so please do not use to much tech jargon in your replys.
Over the last few years I have used and sold many Directv dishes for receiving the Bell Expressvu 91 West signal. For orientation I always used the same values as for the Bell Exbressvu dishes and it worked just fine.
I recently purchased a lot of 3 Directv dishes and I am unable to receive the Expressvu 91 signal.I notice that iwhen I set off the Elevation which is 31.1 for my area the dish is pointing downwards, so something has changed another thin I observed the LNB arm is longer then the previous dishes. Would appreciate if anyone out there could help. Hope I can find the replys. Just in case could the kind soul who comes to my rescue send me an email telling me where to look for the comeback. ve2chi999@aol.com

Thank You

little hard to do a blind scan on an ExpressVu receiver

yes you can use a DirecTv dish on ExpressVu. If it has just the one LNB (the "eye") that will work. The one with three LNB's (3 eyes) is more cumbersome and not fun to aim with.
