Directv grounding problem

DirecTV came out to fix my TV again for the 10th. time since Jan. 10. They said the problem was there grounding wire from the dish to my house grounding wire had some discharge causing my problem. They disconnected there ground wire to my house ground wire and it fixed my problem. So they left it disconnected and left.

They said I needed to call a Elect. teck to check it out.

First time here so what do I need to do now.

It sounds like they were right, call an electrician.

Do you have tools? I take it you are not familiar with residential electrical systems? Chip is right, if you are not familiar with it, or have the right tools, call an electrician.

Maybe we can start here, what was the symptom with your DirecTV system?
