Hope Directv stream updates there box with the same guide as the Roku DTV stream app.

There are no plans for that. The only reason the Roku looks like that was because the platform was struggling with processing the graphics for the app so it was dumbed down. Similar to how they had to pair down the genie guide when it couldn’t handle the graphics. Tech support confirmed this on Reddit after it launched
