Went to Directv App on my ipad this morning and tried to find 342 and 677 and they are not in the guide yet .went to 10/6 and still no 342 and 677. so it could be 10/8 or 10/10 IF both fusion and Longhorn Network go on the air but we will have to wait and see. Stay tuned about these 2 channels.
It's just the regular old app for smartphones. The guide updates there first. Usually you can see new things appear there before the official announcement and before TV. For example, when a channel is supposed to go HD, the HD version will appear on my phone before the guide on TV.

SEC Network was added on august 14th. just looked today and ESPN Deportes was added to lineup as well. Fusion and Longhorn Network might come on next week. The Watch apps might be also included later this month or maybe November. Havent heard or got announcement yet on these items yet. But stay tuned...

they have been up as a result of a lawsuit directv had with hubbard.
For the uninformed Hubbard was the owner of USSB way back when DBS started. They had the Viacom channels and the premiums until Directv bought them out. They also own some TV stations including all the ABC stations licensed in Minnesota
What is funny is in Minneapolis they own the ABC (KSTP) and an Independent station (KSTC) . They have a commercial for the Indy station (KSTC 45) about "the museum of laughter" or something and as the "employee" takes someone into the elevator if you look close enough you will see the "USSB" logo in back of the elevator
Well 10/8 has came and still waiting for Fusion and Longhorn Network to comr on or go live. Well we will have to wait to see if both channels come on 10/10. Stay Tuned.
2 weeks now and no Fusion and Longhorn Network. Whats the holdup? Hopefully ABC/Disney and Directv should get this contract done this week or next or maybe In November. Also they should add Goal Line/Buzzer Beater/Bases Loaded Channel and Watch Apps should also be add in this new contract deal as well.
