Directv to carry New Lakers HD channel

I just got an email from the Los Angeles Times stating DirecTV is finalizing a deal to carry the Lakers channel from Tina Warner cable. Anyone heard anything else.

done, according to dtv twitter feed. channel is 691 and i believe 458 for the spanish version. bring on pac 12 network next!

I feel sorry for all those impatient folks who ditched DTV for inferior service like TWC, Uverse and Charter. So glad I waited (and got rewarded by DTV handsomely for doing so). Pac-12 Net is next (hopefully)!

I agree, the seasons only a few weeks old and some people jumped ship in haste.
