Anything in the weekly data and TPN Map that refers to channels on D10 103cb, should instead show D15 103cb on the same transponder and TID numbers. The switch occurred back on December 9, 2025. Gary and I are working on the necessary software changes now. Our data collection procedures have no way of distinguishing between two satellites at 103 degrees with transponders on the same frequency.

D10 has failed in such a way that DirecTV is asking permission to remove it from Geostationsry orbit and boost it to a disposal orbit ASAP. See this thread.

I forgot about the D10 issues. When did D15 launch and take over?

The good old days of the D satellite launches with the anticipation of new HD channel additions.

I don't have the launch dates handy, but I do have a record of the dates it was placed into service. D15 has been located at 103 since September 2019, when it was moved from 101 after D16 was placed into service at 101. D15 started service at 101 in November 2018.

At 103, it has been providing the transponders for 103ca, and occasionally a specific transponder on 103cb, when they wanted that signal to reach Puerto Rico. It has been an in orbit spare for D10 national transponders on 103cb during that time. 103cb transponders were the only thing left on D10 after they lost spot beam capability on D10 early in its life.
