I had to call DirecTV this morning. I was getting a 'unable to read access card error.' The CSR and I got to talking about the different models of HR's. He mentioned he was waiting to get the new HR box in April. I pushed him for information and he told me "The box that is coming in April is going to be around $500 and have TiVo technology in it." I told him I thought that wasn't coming till a year or so from now. He just continued to say it was coming in April.
I highly doubt this is true but I figured I would share with everyone. I haven't heard anything at all about this and wanted to see if anyone had heard anything like this? In the CSR's defense he did seem like he knew what he was doing.
