Does anyone know if you use Direcway do you have to use Pegasus or can you go directly(heh) to D*. I am really jonesing for some kind of broadband service.

Direcway is a nationwide service, and can be purchased from DirecTV, or any of the Direcway "Powered by" partners, such as Earthlink, etc...
It does not have the "not available in NRTC areas" restriction that DirecTV has for video services, which is why you must purchase in those areas from an NRTC provider, such as Pegasus.
