I got a voice mail from directv today saying I qualified for a 50% discount on my directv bill. Seems strange they are giving me nfl Sunday ticket and now offering me a huge discount. Must be some kind of a catch to it. Anyone else get this offer?

If DirecTV wants to give a subscriber a discount…it does not need to contact the customer as if it could be asking for that subscriber's permission. DirecTV can just…do it!

As I understand it, the scammer is not asking for permission, but just a year's prepayment to the scammer.
