Dish 1000.2 Install Questions

I've been reading the install instructions and forum posts and I'm still confused on the equipment I may or may not need.
I am upgrading from a Dish 500 and purchased a Dish 1000.2 when I got my new VIP 211 HD receiver. The receiver has one sat input. I currently have one cable running from the dish to the receiver. No switches or separators. Can I just use that one cable connected to 119 to get a single from all 3 orbitals? Or do I need to add a DPP44 switch with all 3 orbitals hooked up.

You can run just the one line. No need for a separate switch.
