Yes, new HD is on 129 if you're not in Florida or New England. If you wait until 1FEB, you can get the dish and receiver upgrade for $99 from Dish.
How do you get the new HD channels if you live in Florida?

Sorry im also a newbie here.. Im planning of buying a dish 1000 for 110, 119, 129. I have 3 receivers. Do i need to use a dp34? Will all receivers are going to be able to get all three sats? I also have a multi switch 3x4? Will this work?
thanks

I know this topic is a year old.. I just didnt want to create another one

I've read half of the postings on this, a DPP Twin WILL work on a DPP44 and a DP34 but it will only work for so long.

I've seen it myself work and not work.
Over a year now with a DPP Twin feeding a DP34. YMMV. Yes, a DPP44 is a much more versatile switch, but I don't NEED one.

I'll post here instead of creating a new thread.

I have a Dish 1000. 2 runs going to my structured wiring can feeding 2 dual tuner receivers. I want to add another single tuner HD receiver. How do I go about this? Another run from dish or can I use a DP34/44 in my can?

Thanks,

Derek
