argh!! I can't seem to get a straight answer from E* or local retailers. Matter of fact E* TWICE refered me to local retailer claiming "we don't have that info yet". :shocked

Currently have dish500 for 100/119 and another 500 for 148...connected to 921, 942 & 501 via cascaded DP34 switches.
Trying to replace the main dish500 with dish1000, replace the cascaded DP34's with DPP44 switch. Then I will be able to pick up 129 sat and service the 5 tuners (the 921 being fed with a seperator).
but damn I can NOT get anything other than the 148 sat, which has the same original LNB and position, to show up. The 921 and 942 recognize the DPP44 sw both directly and with the seperator but I can not get any signal for 110/119/129.
I have now been told 3 different azimuth and skew angles, none of which seem to get ANY of the 3 main sats. I eliminated the DPP44 by connecting directly to each receiver individually and still no signal. Just X's after switch check.
Am I doing something else wrong or, as I suspect, am I just off on my dish pointing?
Any help is appreciated.
sigh....I really hoped this was gonna be 1) replace dish, 2) repeak, 3) rework cables and switch, 4) sit down and stare at TV.
another thing - I was surprised to NOT see "Dish 1000" as a selection in the check switch screen for either the 042 or 921. I thought the new s/w took care of that. I guess the s/w only enabled seeing 129/121/105 sats..
