I have a 322 receiver connected to 2 TVs. I have cable for my basic channels. I can get the cable channels on TV1 but cannot get them on TV2. Dish tech support said it isn't possible to can't be done. Can I add a splitter on TV2 will that allow me to get both cable and Dish or will that cause more problems than it solves?

I would think that you could bring a second cable from the cable company into tv2 room and hook it up to an A/B switch and switch back and forth. I don't think a diplexer would work. Mayby someone else has a better idea

You can get two 2-way splitters and connect them backwards to combine the cable and TV2 feeds, but you need to make sure that you set the receiver to output to a CATV channel and to one that is not in use on your CATV system, like channel 125.
