No not yet. 5000 owners should be good for a few more months.

Why cant one get a real answer from Dish on what will or wont happen?

Even though I have been told by my Dish contacts that the simulcasts would ramain on the wings for awhile, this is Echostar we are talking about.

My prediction - the price of a 5000 with HDTV adapter will fall dramatically on EBay by the end of the week.
