I have a dish 501 that is feeding off a split connection, i cannot get sat110. But when i connect directly to connection i can, i have an inline amplifier on the splitter as well. Any help or suggestions would be great

Is the splitter for OTA? I think you need to use a diplexor if that's the case.

splitters do not work with satellite (before i get flamed, I do know there are sometimes uses for splitters, but not in this situation)... are you sure its a splitter and not a diplexer or switch?
