Dish 60.0 Remote

She hasn't mentioned anything about speed. The like the size of it as she was always losing the 54.0 remotes and she likes the button size.

I have a total of 5 remotes paired to her receiver 4 54.x and one 60.0 and never had any issues.

She uses a wired Joey 4.

Has she said if response/lag time is a little faster? Is she using it with a Hopper Plus setup? My wife is going to give it a try. Wonder if Dish is going to come out with skins for it!
Id'e be curious if it pairs up to the joey and the t.v. once you pull the thingy out preventing the batteries from going dead,, our 54.0 did that!!!

So I had to buy one, this thing is much bigger and much heavier than expected. Haven't set it up yet.

I saw DISH post about the 60.0 remote yesterday, and in their posting it says to use it that you need to unpair your 54.0 remotes from your device (Hopper or Joey) before using it.

Not sure why they are saying this as I use both fine.

Well....I can tell you why :biggrin

I had two 50.0 remotes paired to a Wally. Used one of them to go into sys info and pair the 60.0. The 60.0 immediately assumed the identity of the 50.0 I went into the sys info with! Same name, same TV brand. Problem is, it also caused the other 50.0 to do the same. Had to unpair all 3 remotes and re-pair them.
